Last Updated: 01/11/2025
Effective Date: 01/11/2025

This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to the Website of Shipify Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and outlines how refunds, returns, cancellations, or fee reversals are handled for interactions made through or relating to Shipify DLMP, our Digital Logistics Marketplace.

Because Shipify DLMP is a service marketplace, not an online store selling physical goods, this Policy is structured to reflect:

  • Service fees
  • Platform usage
  • Provider–trader engagements
  • Contractual obligations executed within the Shipify DLMP Platform

If you disagree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Website and related services.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to:

  • Website interactions
  • Demo requests
  • Provider applications
  • Partnership inquiries
  • Shipify DLMP account creation
  • Platform usage fees
  • Transaction or service fees related to logistics services facilitated by Shipify DLMP

This Policy does NOT apply to logistics service outcomes (e.g., transport, forwarding, clearance, warehousing, handling, insurance), as these are fulfilled by independent third-party providers, not Shipify Ltd.

Such services are governed by their own contracts, terms, or agreements between traders and providers inside Shipify DLMP.

2. No Physical Goods, No Traditional Returns

Shipify Ltd does not sell physical goods. Therefore:

  • No physical returns
  • No restocking fees
  • No item-based refunds

Apply to the Website or to Shipify DLMP.

3. Refunds for Shipify DLMP Platform Fees

Refunds for fees charged directly by Shipify Ltd (e.g., platform access fees, subscription fees, commission or transaction fees, premium service fees) may be issued only under the following conditions:

Refunds Will Be Considered If:

  • A technical failure on Shipify DLMP prevented completion of a paid service
  • A user was mistakenly charged due to a verified system error
  • A subscription or fee was charged after a user submitted a cancellation request (within the allowed      timeframe)
  • Duplicate payments were made
  • Shipify Ltd determines, at its sole discretion, that a refund is warranted based on fairness, compliance,      or system malfunction

Refunds Will NOT Be Issued For:

  • Fees already paid to logistics providers (transporters, forwarders, warehouses, etc.)
  • Losses caused by delays, damages, or operational disputes between trader and provider
  • Cancellations initiated after a provider has accepted and begun delivery of logistics services
  • Failure to use the platform after registration
  • Disputes between users and third-party providers (handled separately via Shipify DLMP dispute      workflows)

4. Cancellation of Services

Within Shipify DLMP

Cancellations of logistics services or provider engagements are governed by:

  • Provider-specific terms
  • Cargo-handling agreements
  • Applicable laws
  • Shipify DLMP’s dispute or cancellation workflows

Shipify Ltd is NOT responsible for:

  • Penalties charged by providers
  • Cancellation fees imposed by logistics partners
  • Lost opportunities or business disruptions

Subscriptions or Platform Services

For services billed by Shipify Ltd:

  • Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled anytime but are not refundable once billed
  • Annual plans may be partially refundable only if stated in a specific contract
  • Premium add-on services follow the terms stated at purchase

  • Your full name or company name
  • Email used to register on Shipify DLMP
  • Transaction ID or invoice number
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence (e.g.,screenshots, payment receipts, error logs)

Review Steps

  1. Shipify Ltd reviews the request within 7–14 business days
  2. Additional documentation may be requested
  3. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method
  4. Refund timelines depend on banking/payment processor policies

Refund determinations made by Shipify Ltd are final.

6. Third-Party Providers and No Refund Liability

Shipify Ltd is not the logistics service provider.

Logistics services available on Shipify DLMP are performed by independent third-party providers who:

  • Set their own terms
  • Handle their own cancellations
  • Manage their own refunds
  • Are responsible for service quality, delivery, and performance

Shipify Ltd does not refund payments made directly or indirectlyto third-party providers for logistics services.

All disputes regarding delivered or undelivered services must follow the Shipify DLMP dispute resolution workflow, not the Website’s refund process.

7. Technical Issues and Platform Outages

Refunds may be considered if:

  • Platform unavailability directly prevented completion of a paid transaction
  • A verified critical error caused financial loss

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Temporary maintenance
  • Minor bugs
  • Internet issues on the user’s side
  • Inability to use the platform due to provider non-compliance or incomplete onboarding
  • Incorrect user configurations or failing to meet platform requirements

8. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

Shipify Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Deny refund requests suspected of fraud
  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse
  • Report fraudulent activity to authorities or partners
  • Withhold refunds pending investigation

9. Changes to This Policy

Shipify Ltd may update or amend this Return and Refund Policy at any time.
Updates will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date changed accordingly.

Continued use of the Website or Shipify DLMP after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
